Slow-Cooked Tamale Casserole
I was in the mood for Mexican and needed to leave something in the slow-cooker. I looked this up and after reading some other reviews I modified it also. I did everything the recipe said, except I added a can of black beans, Mexican Rotel, can of green chilis, and I used taco seasoning (all I had on hand) and ground turkey. I put it on Medium instead of high. When we got home I looked at it and I thought, doesn't look so good. My husband said, "Oh my goodness this is good stuff, this recipe is a keeper!" We had a salad and corn chips to go along with it. So I guess we're keeping this one.
