I am a mother of 4 boys ages 9, 7, 3 and 8 months. I also homeschool them which keeps my very busy! My husband loves food, although, he is quite picky about certain things. He loves nothing more than a delicious meal, one with alot of spices. I have been cooking since I was a teenager. I must admit that I was getting tired of making the same old things all the time. I get a cooking magazine, but can't say I use it all that much. I found this website and love it. I read all of the reviews, which are so helpful. I almost look forward to cooking now because I know that it will most likely be good. I have quite the sweet tooth. I love to bake desserts, cookies, bars, etc. My kids love to help me cook. My nine year old is getting really good. I think that it is such a fun way to spend time with your kids. Plus their wives will thank me one day!! Before I was married, I made a Christmas box full of delicious bars, cookies and sweet breads for my boss. I must admit it was so pretty. He told me that I was quite the Martha Stewart. What a compliment! The first time I cooked for my inlaws was horrible. We lived in an apartment and I set off the fire alarm. I forgot the garlic bread in the broiler. The entire apartment was filled with smoke. We had to air it out, so we opened the slider door on the coldest day in January. We ate our dinner while we froze.
