Caramel Apple Pie II

The bottom crust didn't cook all the way through, even though I cooked it longer than suggested. Next time, I will follow my own tried-and-true recipe that is MUCH BETTER! So much for trying something different!

Best Toffee Ever - Super Easy

I made this for gift tins for 20+ people and EVERYONE LOVED THIS TOFFEE!!!!!!!! I used chopped walnuts instead of almonds and next time I am just going to skip the nuts all together and will try 1/2 butterscotch and 1/2 semi-sweet chocolate chips to see how that goes... But this recipe is perfect! WONDERFUL!

Easy Cheesy Chicken I

Pretty good and fairly easy. However, next time I will add fresh cloves of garlic for added flavor. It isn't a bland dish, there's just something missing...

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Broccoli Cheese Soup V

I changed the recipe a bit and it still turned out wonderfully! This is a GREAT base recipe for this soup and very easily altered! It was TOO good! I was afraid it was all I would eat the next day since it makes so much that I had to give it away! YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Creamy Pumpkin Pie

This has become one of my family's favorite recipes during the holidays. I bake the pumpkin and then use this recipe to the exact measurement. PERFECT! HOWEVER - I do make TWO pies instead of just one.

After reading the advice of others, I doubled the amount of sauce and left out the ketchup. However, I think I should have added a tad bit of ketchup. We will definitely be having this one again!

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Really good recipe, but I wanted REALLY CHEESY macaroni - I would make it again, but after dumping into the baking pan, I would cut up chunks of velveeta and "push" them into the mix. But otherwise, it really was a good recipe!

Egg Drop Soup I

This is a great recipe! The broth was a little salty because of the cubes, so next time I will add another cup of water. Didn't have corn starch, so I used flour - and the chunks of flour that gathered made little yummy dumplings. VERY VERY EASY!!!!!!!!!!!

Candy Coated Pecans

This recipe is wonderful AND easy! The prep time was less than 10 minutes; the cleanup was very easy also! I think I may try sprinkling some cinnamon on them the next time. I would suggest this recipe to anyone looking for a quick and easy way to make something sweet to have at home or give as gifts! EXCELLENT!

Yellow Chess Cake

I followed the recipe as directed, and the cake was wonderful! However, I tried to vary the recipe by using Devil's Food Cake mix, and it did not work well. If the mix is not crumbly, then you have over-stirred the mixture. Follow the recipe (USE SOFTENED BUTTER AND CREAM CHEESE - DO NOT MELT THE BUTTER!) as directed, and you will get pats on the back as I did!! VERY VERY RICH Tasting! Also, remember to put the cream cheese down first, or the cherries will make the bottom crust/cake very soggy and awful!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

I have served this twice, and both times it was a hit! I have requests to make it! It was a lot easier to prepare than I had first expected. I made a bit of a mess while doing it, but it was well worth it!
