Barley Bake
Great recipe. I used beef broth and a few more mushrooms than the recipe stated. Also, if you are trying to cut the fat/calories, definitely no need to use 1/4 c. of butter. I used 1-2 TB and it was delicious. Served to some family who never had barley before and they loved it and requested the recipe.

Acorn Squash Soup
I didn't have celery or bacon so I left those out and my fiance and I still thought this soup was delicious!

Boston Brown Bread III
So easy to make and really yummy! Pretty sweet but not overly so. I didn't have buttermilk so I substituted vinegar and milk for 1/2 of it and plain yogurt for the other 1/2 of it.
