German Baby
Never made a german pancake until now and I must say it is a great breakfast for just 2 or a large group. I have made it twice and both times it came out great. I did add vanilla and we squeezed fresh lemon on and oh does it make it taste way better.. Don't forget to heat up the maple syrup for and added touch. Loved it and will definitely be a keeper for the recipe box. The 2nd time I made it I had to bake in 2 round cake pans. I melted the butter first then quickly heated the pans and then baked. This worked out fine but did stick a little b/c I might not have split butter equally or could have been my pans. I also take the pancake out of my pan and cut up like a pie for easy serving.

Pappardelle Puttanesca
I used this as a base recipe and loved it. Mushrooms were great, I didn't measure anything but know that I used the full cup of white wine or more. Didn't use the anchovy. I added prosciutto, artichoke, calamata olives, dried tomatoes in oil and added some of that oil, did more like 3 tbs chopped garlic and 3 scallions chopped. Put over thin spaghetti... I added some goat cheese to mine and loved it. My husband added thin slices of a hard italian cheese. Will definitely make it again.

Shepherd's Pie VI
This was my first time making Sheperds Pie and it turned out awesome. I took everyones advice and zipped up the flavor in the meat alot... I added garlic pepper, more salt and black pepper, steak sauce, onion powder, garlic powder. I used store bought red skin mashed potatoes and added sour cream and the chedder cheese. I did add some beef gravy to the hamburger mix and then pour a thin coat over the it when layering. I used corn, peas and carrots and loved the mix of veggies. I was able to make this ahead of time and was great as a left over.
