About this Cook
I am a wife of four years, and a mother of two. I came into my marriage not knowing how to cook anything, and having to live up to my mother in laws cooking. With luck, practice, and Allrecipes.com I've become a lot better, and my husband doesn't groan anymore when I say I'm cooking.
My favorite things to cook
I've basically mastered chicken breasts and chicken cutlets. I love them, they are so easy and quick, but can be so tasty too. I'm also very proud of my sauce, as I learned on my own, and it has been a long trial and error experience. I love to spend an hour or so searching through recipes, reading the reviews, and then creating an entirely new meal.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love cooking weekend breakfasts for the family with my husband. My husband and I make delicious chicken sandwiches too, when I tell the kids that's what's for dinner, they cheer and it takes all of us to make them.
My cooking triumphs
Mastering my tomato sauce. Basically any Italian food that I make that my husband will eat, because he is straightup 100% italian, and i'm 100% irish, so all of that kind of food is completely new to me. I recently learned how to make eggplant parmigiana and he raved about it.

Buried Cherry Cookies
These cookies were really easy to make and I had everything already in the house which was nice. My kids weren't 100% thrilled by this recipe but I definitely enjoyed a dessert that went beyond chocolate chips and the combination of cherry and almond was delicious. Will be adding to my holiday routine definitely!!!

Italian Cookies II
I just got done frosting these cookies, and it took every ounce of willpower to walk away from them in order to rate the recipe. They are phenomenal. A complete change from my normal choc-chip cookies, so light and fluffy and delicious. Perfect for after a pasta dinner with an espresso. Thank you so much for this recipe!!!

Di's Delicious Deluxe Deviled Eggs
These are YUMMY!!! I have never had a deviled egg in my life so I have nothing to compare them to, but I have definitely become a fan. I didn't have any celery on hand, so I used sweet relish instead. I used a copius amount of hot sauce, and it worked really well with the sweet taste first, and then the spiciness catching you off guard towards the end. Next time I might add a little vinegar to try it out, and making it the night before and letting it chill in the fridge might work too. Thank you for a delicious recipe Di!!!!
