To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Add another 5 star review. These muffins were wonderful - just the right sweetness, moist and blueberry-y. I doubled the recipe and made 12 very large muffins. I let them sit on a rack for about 30 minutes before removing from the greased muffin tin, not one stuck or broke, all 12 came out beautiful!

Easy Never Forgotten Guacamole

This is the best guacamole we've ever had. Made it almost to the recipe except used minced red onions and minced garlic - it was perfect.

Mall Pretzels

This recipe was excellent. I made it exactly as written and the dough was wonderful to work with. The recipe was quick and easy - no problems with rolling out the dough. You really do have to roll them out pencil thin, though because they rise really well and if they are fatter they will probably make a pretzel knot instead. I always like to try the recipe as written first, and if it works or not, making changes if possible. I can't wait till my next day off to make these with all kinds of seasonings! I also tried brushing them with the butter and salt before baking, but they come out much better if you just do the baking soda and water, and when they are done you put the melted butter and salt on them.

Bake Sale Lemon Bars

I have made these 3 times now - and now I'm known as the Lemon Bar Lady! Everybody loves them. After reading through the reviews I've also cut down on the time of the baking the crust, about 12 minutes and the completed bars for about 20 minutes with the oven at 350. (You just really have to check for the golden brown.)I also make 1/3 more filling to pour over (that was the easiest with 1 extra egg)and they are absolutely perfect. I have given the recipe out 3 times now also, and everyone is waiting for the next batch.

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies III

Another 5 star rating. Made these along with other cookies for my husbands work - these were the first to go to the "lucky ones." They are like cookie brownies and very rich and chocolately.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

This is a wonderful chili - very meaty. The heat is nice, not blazing but there. It's amazing how chili changes over the 2 hours while it is cooking. Husband and son thought this was the best chili they've ever had.

Fusion Chili

I loved this chili - so did my daughter who does not like chili. There are so many flavors that develop while you eat it. It is like a gourmet chili. If I owned a restaurant this is the chili I would serve. That being said, my husband and son only rated it a 4 - they loved the fusion but thought it was a little too sweet - they do not like their chili to have any sweetness. I will be making this again!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

This cake is absolutely the prettiest, tastiest cake. It well deserves its 5 stars because it is easy, tasty and cuts into the most perfect slices. It was better than the cakes we have been buying from the Italian bakery. I want this to become my new "Classic" and will bring it everywhere I need to bring dessert.

Chicken Fried Chicken

This was great. Perfectly crisp. We cut them into small nugget sizes, and the 4 year old who couldn't stop eating them. .
