Toffee Bars by EAGLE BRAND®

Really good - and easy! A bit too much chocolate for me, but my co-workers who gobbled it up didn't seem to think so! Quite rich, but great with a cup of coffee. Interestingly several called it the "peanut butter thing."

Dark Chocolate Bacon Cupcakes

Good enough chocolate cupcake, but I didn't find the bacon and coffee combo added enough interesting tastes to make these great and warrant the weird looks/comments when explaining what is in them! Don't think I'll be making again.

Irish Cream Truffle Fudge

Oh so rich. I too agree that there is a bit too much liquer. I also had a problem getting all of the butter to incorporate and was very skeptical that it would actually turn out creamy. However, it turned out very creamy! I did have to sop up the excess butter using a paper towel (while warm) and had to scrape off cooled butter later, which of course just affected how it looked, but a bit of a pain.

Tasted okay, but I obviously didn't bake long enough or something went wrong, because they didn't "stick" together - I couldn't cut them into bars, and they would have required a spoon to eat! I might try again hoping for better results.

Raspberry and Almond Shortbread Thumbprints

Made this Christmas - turned out beautiful and everyone enjoyed them! I was expecting the cookie part to have more of a shortbread taste and texture, it wasn't crispy as shortbread. Perhaps I didn't have the butter at the right temperature or over mixed the dough.

Ok - nice twist to regular hummus. I also added feta cheese. I only added the amount of vinegar suggested, however I felt it was a bit too much, next time will use less.

Yowza! Very very strong if you don't dilute it, and my guests didn't realize that! Next time, will add the lemonade (or ginger ale or whatever) prior to serving for the sake of my guests!

Spinach Deviled Eggs

My guests really enjoyed these - even those who were a bit skeptical! Made a LOT of filling, next time I'll probably reduce the amount of mayo and spinach. I also added some feta cheese, and that might have been another reason why I had so much filling.

Tortilla Rollups II

Easy, good, guests enjoyed. Definitely didn't use 10 tortillas! I stretched the mixture to fill 6 tortillas and wish I would have spread the mixture a bit thicker.

BLT Dip

Good, and my guests enjoyed it, but didn't LOVE it as much as I would have expected from the rest of the reviews. Tasted best with bread - pita or baguette - rather than chips or crackers. Mixed it up the night before, used drained canned tomatoes, which I added a couple of hours before serving and didn't have any issues.

White Peach Sangria

Strong! I let it sit overnight, and the peaches had quite a kick to them when I served it. Added 7-Up which help weaken it a bit as well as added a bit of a fizz.
