My favorite things to cook
I love Italian (yum!!!!), desserts-they're fun to make even though I don't have much of a sweet tooth and anything veggie but not gra.
My favorite family cooking traditions
The pasta must be perfect, my pet peeve is soggy pasta drenched in sauce (yuck!).
My cooking triumphs
Recently: Delicious vegan mac and cheese! It seems like a never ending battle to find good mac and cheese!
When I was vegetarian:
BEAUTIFUL King Cake (see pic) that I made in Mardi Gras ('06) and was also the first time that I was cooking for about 20 people. It was the first time that I made a pastry or bread and it came out perfectly-thank goodness, there would be no time to make a new one! It was almost too pretty to eat.

Nothing too bad yet...which makes me worry because I know it's coming, everyone has to have one.
