About this Cook
I've been cooking for as long as I can remember. When I was little I used to help my grandma bake pies-she always gave me my own dough and a mini pie tin so that I could make my very own pie.
My favorite things to cook
Soup! I love to be creative and just throw things into a pot. It's amazing what you can do with a few vegetables, spices, and stock.
My cooking tragedies
When I was 12 I tried to make lemon curd-it turned out as this gelatinous curdled mess, it was totally unedible!

Crusty French Bread
Bravo!! I found this recipe very easy to follow. Although bread can seem to be an easy thing ingrediant wide, I have had some trouble in the past. I am determined to perfect it as I know it can't be as hard as I am making it. Living in higher altitude has made it a bit more difficult. However this recipe turned out fabulous!! I used two cups of breada flour and one cup of whole wheat flour. I also put a handful of ice cubes and a bit of water inside the oven just as I put the loaf it. The result was a large fluffy loaf with a crusty outside. Thank you for a great recipe and thanks to other reviewers for their great tips!

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers
Really good!! Tastes like the dessert from an expensive restaurant. I used about 4-5 teaspoons of flour and a little more chocolate, I baked them for about 9 min, they were set on the outside and gooey on the inside. These were super easy and really good!!

Rosenmunnar
These are so good! I followed the recipe to a "T" and they came out perfect. I'm not sure why some people have had such problems, maybe not enough flour, or possibly incorrect oven temp? I put several different kinds of jam in mine, you only need like 1/2 teaspoon in each cookie, they didn't bubble over at all. I made some of mine a bit bigger and those held more jam. Either way they were super easy and fabulous!
