I am the wife of a Texas high school football coach, the mother of 3 beautiful girls, and Science teacher to about a hundred 7th graders. Needless to say, I enjoy chaos. But when I want to relax and slow everything down... the kitchen is where I will go. I absolutely love cooking desserts. Probably because I love eating them! My husband and I both love to have company over, so I am constantly trying out new recipes. We also have a huge extended family so holidays are especially fun in the kitchen. I am starting two cookbook-scrapbooks to pass down to my girls when they are grown and out the house. One for regular recipes and the other for desserts. So far, so good... my oldest daughter is already looking through it and cooking the desserts she likes herself. None yet.....
