Recipe true to it's name: "Awesome Pot Roast!" I never knew how to make a roast until I met my husband. It would always turn out way too dry. He taught me how to make a roast in the slow cooker and always stressed that I used a chuck-shoulder roast. One day I wanted to experiment and I tried this recipe. The only thing I did different was season the roast with a bit of soy sacue, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder and seasoned salt, then I pan seared it and then proceeded with the recipe. I did however only use 1 can of cream of mushroom soup instead of 2. After dinner was over my husband said that was the best roast I had made yet! To this day he has no idea I am using a new roast recipe and not his mother's! Later that night I caught him in the kitchen making a roast sandwich from the little letovers we had. The only reason there were letovers was because I used a much bigger cut of roast that I usually buy. I will most definately be making this again!!
