Mexican Lasagna II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2009
This was soo good! With the refried beans I omitted the green onions and tomatoes and just added some salsa and sauteed onions/garlic. For a little spice I put in a dash or 2 of Tabasco, but the salsa really added enough spice. I used a 3 cheese mexican blend cheese, as well as adding some mozzarella just because I wanted more cheese! This was great reheated in the microwave for a few day after as well! LOVE the texture of the tortillas after cooking!

Stuffed Chicken Valentino

This was a great idea! I used fresh red bell peppers- just blanched them in boiling water for a few mins first. It turned out really good!

I made this recipe for a Thanksgiving recipe 2 years ago, and have made it for every special occasion since! Everyone raves and requests the recipe! And this one recipe makes a lot!! I usually make 3 or 4 good size cheese balls with this and give them to the people I REALLY like!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2009
This was super easy! Made the marinade quickly before work and threw it & 2 tenderloin steaks in a ziploc. Then grilled them on the george foreman when I got home. This is the 1st time my husband actually liked at home steak! 5 stars for that! Delish.

Baked Parmesan-Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
I thought this was pretty bland. I could taste herbs, no one in particular, and no other flavors.... Maybe I did something wrong, but I did give it 3 stars because it turned out moist and tender- and gave me a good idea of dipping my chicken in garlic butter before coating- instead of egg all the time. Thank you.

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2009
I didn't see the big deal about this one. The butter mixture was great, but the steak just did not have enough flavor. Next time maybe I'll try doubling the sauce and baste during cooking...

Really good and easy! I would've liked a little more sauce, so I will add more next time.

Scotto Cheese Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2009
This is a really good and easy base recipe. I add diced, cooked onions & garlic, as well as cooked ground beef to the sauce. I also mix in parmesan, and all of my italian herbs & spices with the ricotta mixture. Delicious!

Pesto Cream Sauce

This was really good! I used it as a side, so just the sauce (no meat) and tossed it with bow-tie pasta. Delicious, however it is very very rich!

Baked Salmon II

Delish! I added a lot of butter and dill to the mixture and melted it. Then I baked the salmon on a cookie sheet and occasionally basted it with the butter. Loved it!

Lemon Mushroom Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
I made several adjustments for what I had on hand, and this was still fantastic! You can vary the flavors, and it doesn't matter- it will still be fantastic! I used Cream of Chicken & Mushroom, white zinfandel wine, and lime juice instead of lemon. The sauce it made resulted in the best mashed potatoes & gravy I've ever had! Next time I won't do the flour mixture- the breading was falling off as it was cooking- and that gravy is all you need!

Baked Paprika-Parmesan Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
I found this recipe while looking for a new way to make chicken- with very little ingredients on hand. This was fantastic tasting, and so moist and tender! I only changed a few small things- I double the butter so that I have enough to continue drizzling it over the chicken throughout the baking process, I halved all of my chicken breasts to shorten the cooking time. I also cook it covered until about the last 15 mins. Yum!

Easy Lasagna I

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2009
Lasagna can be so much work, so I was very excited to see recipes calling for ready-made spaghetti sauce! I always use jar sauce and I add my own veggies and spices to make it more to my taste. I look for recipes just as a base for ideas, and then usually make it however I want with those ideas in mind. This was a very simple recipe and easy to make it my own!
