Tandoori Fish

This was such a well flavoured bread and held its shape well. It was great for sandwiches but also delicious served alongside our main meal with some butter on it. The loaf didn't last long in our house!

Pasta e Olio

For something that seemed so simple, this was amazing! I served this as a side dish with Chicken Parmigiana and it was a really great balance. The combination of flavours was spot on and I really enjoyed it.

Carrot and Raisin Salad I

This was a really great side salad, just like I remember my mother making it. I did add a teaspoon of white sugar to make it a bit sweeter as when I tasted it the first time it was a bit bitter. However, the recipe was enjoyed by everyone and I will be making it again.

Limehouse Chicken

I was not expecting much from this dish but I was very pleased with how it turned out! The sweetness was nice and cut through by the lime, and the breading and baking techniques kept the chicken moist. I served this with steamed vegetables and rice and it was an easy weeknight meal.

Cheesy Beans and Rice

This was a pretty good vegetarian meal. I added a few tablespoons of salsa as well, and mixed in some peas, corn and carrots to get some extra vegetables in.

Fast Creamy Tomato Penne

This recipe really depends on the type of pasta sauce you use. Make sure you use one with some extra flavour, herbs and spices going on and a thicker, more tomatoey sauce.

Spicy Honey-Mustard Chicken Stir-Fry

Chicken Noodle Casserole

What a great all in one meal for colder nights. I enjoyed the falvour of this casserole but next time I would probably make slightly more cheese sauce. When I baked it in the oven I put some shredded cheese on top just because my family are big on cheese.

Mmm, these were delicious! I served them with the Aloo Phujia from this site and it was a very nice family meal. The pork stayed tender and the rub was a very tasty blend of flavours.

Peanut Butter Fudge Cake

Oh my gosh, this was amazing! The cake was so dense and fudgy, and the peanut butter helped to cut through the chocolate nicely without being too overpowering. I did have some problems with the icing forming a hard crust on top and cracking after it had been sitting out for a while, but it did not detract from the taste. This even got a two thumbs up from my father in law, so I know it is a keeper!

Lentil Burritos

These burritos were easy to make but it seems like they were missing something- I will expiriment with adding a bit more of something to the filling to see if I like them better.
