About this Cook
I want to start a restaurant sometime soon- look for "ConFusion, Juxtaposed Cuisine!"
My favorite things to cook
My favorite thing to do is experiment! One time, a friend and I made pasta sauce with all this stuff in it; nuts, broccoli, a bunch of spices, caramelized onions, and gardenburger. It was actually really good!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom used to make these chocolate muffins with homemade whipped cream every year for my birthday. I wonder why she stopped. Maybe I'm just not cute enough anymore.
My cooking triumphs
I needed to pay my mom back 44 bucks, so I made 10.50 in one day by making a batch of gingersnaps and selling them at school for 50 cents each. Nobody seemed to care that I had accidentally added an extra half stick of butter! Plus, they were gone by 3rd period!
My cooking tragedies
Oh. My. God. Too many to name! One time I blew up an earthenware dish in my oven. Not good!

Banana Bread IV
Whenever I make banana bread, I use old, brown bananas because they're sweeter. Also, coat the bottom of the pan with sesame seeds. It gives it a nice nutty flavor.

Tabbouleh I
My gosh, tabouleh in general is just awesome. Be sure to use fresh herbs- theyre the best. Add the tomatoes just before serving to avoid putting them in the fridge- they get all mealy and gross. Also, for the health consious, I put about a cup of this stuff in a sun dried tomato tortilla and it was awesome!

Spicy Chicken Curry
I tried the idea of mashing up chopped ginger and garlic to substitute the ginger garlic paste, but my curry turned out really watery. Also, is it poppy seeds or poppy seed paste? Anyway, it had a good flavor.
