Love this recipe but being from the South, I like mine a little sweeter and add a 1/4 cup more sugar. Also, I cook the filling all together, except butter, instead of adding hot ingredients to the eggs yolks. Just cook it at a low-med temperature and stir constantly with a wire whisk. Easier and just as creamy.
