Oven Roasted Red Potatoes and Asparagus
Like many others have stated this recipe has lots of potential. However, as the recipe is written it did not get many raves in my house. I actually cut the spices in half and added the asparagus earlier as my family likes the asparagus really tender. Thought the spices were still a bit too strong when done. Next time I try this dish I will sprinkle the spices over the dish lightly and add some butter for additional flavor.

Frog Eyed Salad
My mom made this all the time growing up in Kansas (big hit with everyone I knew in KANSAS). My husband and I moved to Virginia and I made it at a potluck at work and nearly everyone hated it to a point they told me that pasta and fruit shouldn't be mixed together. I was given the hardest time for months. Definitly not an east coast thing.

Acini di Pepe Salad
My mother has been making this recipe since I was a kid and my entire family loves it. We have always called it frog eyes salad (scary name I know). Since it is such a hit with the family I made it for everyone at work for a big potluck we had and it was a total flop. With the exception of maybe 1 or 2 people I was given the hardest time for months. It is definitely a love or hate dish. Better left in the family if you ask me.
