About this Cook
As a child I was very interested in what went on in the kitchen. My mom has always been an adventurous cook with her head in many different recipe books and I guess it has been passed down to me as well. I love different ingredients and love to experiment...thank goodness my husband loves different foods!!
My favorite things to cook
Indian food has to be my favorite but as I have said I will try anything!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is of swiss-german descent but growing up in western Canada we really experienced many different foods and many fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden. Organic has always been high on my families list and I still try (Mexico is very difficult) to find organic ingredients.
My cooking triumphs
One of the most amazing things that I cooked was a turkey that was soaked in a salt bath overnight. It had the most succulent tender meat and has encouraged me that turkey does not have to be flavourless and dry!! the recipe is on this web site and I thank you!!

Krista's Sticky Honey Garlic Wings
this will be my second time making these. The only adjustment that I made was to cut back on the garlic a bit. Just depends on your garlic clove size how many you want to use!! And, make sure EVERYONE eats the garlic!!
