About this Cook
I mostly cook for my family. They are pretty picky eaters unfortunately so I am constant trying out new recipes. I love all kinds of foods and enjoy trying foreign foods. I really love foods with a lot of flavor and seasoning.
My favorite things to cook
I like to try new recipes. I like to cook all different kinds of food. I don't have any one kind of food that is my favorite to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have several recipes that were passed down from my Dad that I love to cook. He would cook these when I was a child so I now cook them for my kids.
My cooking triumphs
I have had many triumps. Any recipe that turns out yummy and my family loves is a triump for me!
My cooking tragedies
I have had more than I would like to admit. Luckily I have a very understanding family!

Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches
I loved this sandwich. I used Texas Pete's buffalo wing sauce. It was spicy but oh so yummy. I made it exactly with the exception of using Country Crock light instead of butter. Also used the kaiser rolls. Made Adrienne's cucumber salad to go with. Perfect combination.

Adrienne's Cucumber Salad
Yummy! I halved the recipe and used a whole onion. Marinated all day. Served it with the slow cooker buffalo chicken sandwiches. It was really tasty and went well with the sandwich!

Monkey Bread V
I am teaching my kids how to cook and we decided to try this recipe. It was super kid friendly and easy. Turned out beautiful and tasted yummy! We made it exactly except we had two different kinds of biscuits on hand - wheat and a flaky butter. Still turned out great!
