About this Cook
Busy Mom, working in a spa. I am a nail technician. Love to get pampered myself when I can fit it in ( but I always tell my clients to MAKE time!!!)
My favorite things to cook
veggie lasagna, slow cooked chicken breast( shreds like pulled pork-yum),breakfast foods, & love to make different kinds of salads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
grandpa making fried chicken in a homemade beer (heavy on beer)batter. So crispy. grama's chocolate chip pie.
My cooking triumphs
Just learning to cook when I became a mom at 18 right out of high school. When I finally didn't have to call the parents anymore to find out how long to cook something! learning to use a gas grill!!!!!!
My cooking tragedies
Fast, easy, and damn good!!!!

Ruby-Red Strawberry Sauce
I used half water and half juice from an orange. This sauce was AMAZING!!!! It's good hot or cold. I used it on a cheesecake and everyone went crazy for it. My son used it on pancakes and he wanted to learn how to make it himself!!!!This is a keeper...
