Chocolate Chip Apricot Cookies

Quite yummy! I skipped the chips and added extra flour (1/8 cup), as one of the reviewers suggested. This def helped keep the cookies cohesive. Be aware that the recipe does not make a whole lot of cookies.

Leche Asada

Great dessert and easy to make. For those who haven't had it before -- it's more like custard than creme brulee. Also, note that it's meant to be eaten with a pretty decently browned top. So I kept it in the oven (even with a ceramic dish) for almost an hour.

Fudge Brownies I

I made these with 2 eggs and they indeed came out fudgy (instead of cakey)...but flat! Also, this recipe has too much sugar (reduced to 1.5 cups) and too much butter. I would cut down on these next time.

Salmon, Rice, and Fried Tomatoes

By accident we forgot to put the dill & lemon pepper in the rice, and ended up putting them on the salmon instead. It tasted perfect! I think the recipe needs to be done this way, otherwise the salmon is utterly unseasoned.

Soft Gingerbread Cookies

As many have noted, these cookies are not very sweet at all. I wish I had read them beforehand, but I was under a deadline so I just jumped in. These cookies are bland as sand, with a texture about as good. Ended up throwing them all away.

Easy to make, and tasty to boot. But I'm glad I followed the tip that said to cut down to 3/4 cup sugar -- that certainly was enough.

Wonderful Banana Cake

I joined just so I could rate this cake: Delicious! I was skeptical at first, but it came out beautifully -- so beautifully, in fact, my roommate said it was "the best banana cake" I'd "ever made." It's scandalous how easy it was. Used 3 med. bananas, 1/2 the butter suggested, and 4 oz. banana yogurt. Moist as hell.
