Tasty Baked Meatballs

Oh my gosh these are sooo yummy. I didn't have onion soup mix so I just used diced onion and 2 tbps of italian seasoning. Also used 2 egg whites and 1 egg. I will definitely be making these again soon.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

This was quick and easy, but I think the steaks I had were bigger they came out medium rare, which is to my liking not everyones! I am reducing the sauce a big more right now to pour over the other steak and eat as another meal.

Gooey Butter Cake III

I made this at a request from a coworker and took it in to work. I found it too sweet for my taste, but other's seemed to enjoy it. If you have a serious sweet tooth, it's delicious. It was a bit much for me!

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

This is quite yummy, but I like the Penne w/ Vodka Sauce recipe from this site a bit better. I added 4oz of pancetta in with sweet turkey sausage. Also, I put the vodka in at the same time I added the garlic and red pepper (upped it to 1/4 cup). Finally I used fat free half and half instead of cream. Made the recipe MUCH healthier and thought the taste was still very good.

Baked Spaghetti

I made just a few changes to make this slightly healthier including using whole wheat spaghetti and ground turkey. I also cut the butter to 3 tbsp and can't say I would have noticed any difference. This was rich and delicious, definitely a keeper.

Fragrant Chicken Curry

Ok, I have a recipe from my grandmother for Chicken Curry that I love...but it takes all day to make. This was delicious! My friends and I loved it. Definitely will make this again.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Have made this twice now, did not puree the ingredients the first time. I think it does make a difference to take the time to do it. Marinade comes out thicker and adheres to the meat better. Steaks came out flavorful and the marinade is not overpowering. I used filet mignon for this recipe.

Juiciest Hamburgers Ever

Delicious burgers! I rarely cook on the grill but this summer have been getting better at it. Usually my burgers are kind of dry and fall apart, not these. They were flavorful and very easy to cook. I halved the recipe, used just the egg yolk and used 1 lb ground beef and 1 tbs of cream.

Pizza Casserole

This was pretty good, I used 1/2lb italian turkey sausage and 1/2lb of ground beef. I added black olives and used turkey pepperoni instead of regular. Used 2 cans of pizza sauce to make sure it was not too dry. Also added a layer of cheese in the middle.

Lover's Beef Burgundy Filet

Spicy Maryland Crab Dip

Yep, it's definitely authentic Maryland style crab dip! I bought some fresh crab at Baltimore's Lexington Market while visiting on Friday and made this dip on Saturday. I used only 2 teaspoons of Old Bay since I don't like too much spice, but it gave it just the right kick. I baked the dip in individual ramikin dishes which was a nice presentation. Definitely keeping this one!

Peach Raspberry Cobbler

This was delicious, and I am not a big dessert person. I blanched the peaches in boiling water for 30 seconds and then plunged in cold water to get the skins off the them. I also halved the recipe and used an 8x8 glass dish. Worked great and this was quick and easy to make.

Avocado Dip

This was quite tasty, but for some reason I didn't really dig the slaw dressing. It made the taste somewhat sweet which I thought was wierd. Maybe I will try it with less dressing next time.

Grilled Chicken Thighs Tandoori

This was good although I couldn't use the grill since it's winter right now. I baked in the oven, and chicken was moist and had a nice flavor, but I think on the grill would be 5 stars.
