About this Cook
I'm a vietnamese-american with a passion for food!
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new things and experiment with international flavors, as well as good old american food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom is a great cook and I am always trying to keep up with her. She makes great vietnamese food but my favorites are banh xeo (crepe like dish) and her chicken curry.
My cooking triumphs
I make great chicken: pot pie, roasted with garlic, with dumplings in a stir-fry, deep fried, and baked. And I love to grill.
My cooking tragedies
Once I made a batch of fried chicken that was overseasoned with hot chili powder. It was awful!

Banana Pancakes I
These pancakes always come out fluffy and light. My boyfriend and I like to add a little vanilla extract and chocolate chips. I also only use one banana instead of two and thin it out with a little extra milk. Buttermilk is also really good if you have that on hand. I've used this recipe a dozen times and the pancakes always come out perfect.
