About this Cook
As I was growing up I really hated to cook and I didn't want to learn, but when I left home I had no choice to learn...now I really enjoy myself in the kitchen!
My favorite things to cook
I just love to bake treats for my husband and daughter to enjoy. I really love to bake a variety of muffins for them on the week-end.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We have a very popular recipe for apple pies...but it's a family secret passed on by my great grand-mother.
My cooking triumphs
I made a BBQ (marinated porc and potatoes) for my fussy in-laws (who had brought over their own meal in case mine was horrible), it took them so much by surprise that they gave away the food they brought and left with a doggie bag with my leftovers.
My cooking tragedies
My first brownies that I ever made were so over baked that I was never able to remove them from the pan...I had to throw out everything, pan included.

Country Rib Delight
Family really enjoyed this oven recipe. What a delightful taste it leaves in your mouth. We added some cayenne pepper for a spicy taste.

Creamy Rice Pudding
Great tasting, my husband actually enjoys this recipe better than his mom's recipe !! It was my first time making it and I found it very easy to make.
