Carrot Cookies I

These are very good & not very sweet, which is nice. Didn't have the coconut, which may have made this a 5-star, but otherwise was a cake texture.

Maple Dill Carrots

Bread and Celery Stuffing

tasted just like my mom's! I doubled the recipe, which overstuffed our 18lb turkey & left a little to be cooked on the side. I also added some thyme, marjoram, & additional sage.

Cheesy Green Beans

The taste of the cheese overwhelmed the beans & dill (in fact didn't even taste the dill). I do like Velveeta & it was tasty when hot & freshly melted, but there was too much cheese for the amount of beans & it coagulated too much when it cooled.

Garlic Green Beans

Very quick & easy. We cut the amount of garlic in half, which was perfect at least for our tastes. I will admit that we also forgot to add the Parmesan cheese, but it still tasted great otherwise. Next time we'll add the cheese (and post an updated review).

Super Sausage Gravy

Tasted great - just like sausage gravy & biscuits are supposed to taste. We used turkey sausage, which didn't have a lot of drippings so we added olive oil to the fat base. We also doubled the flour & milk so that there was more gravy to the amount of meat.

Alyson's Broccoli Salad

This was my contribution to Thanksgiving dinner and everyone loved it! I used a 16oz. bag of Broccoli-wokly, the pre-cut florets sold in the produce section, perfect amount to the amount of dressing.

Hot Artichoke Dip
