About this Cook
My husband and daughter are passionate cooks, and we really enjoy baking and trying new recipes together! I really appreciate the home time making creative fun recipes with my family.
My favorite things to cook
anything homemade, I love tradition, although we use store brought sauces and spices, from time to time, we love making healthy, hearty home cooked meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We all cook together, my 7 year old daughter, Clara likes to play cooking channel monsters when we cook together, eggs beconme dragon eyes, sliced almonds snake scales etc...our family spends more time in the kitchen than anywhere else in the house!
My cooking triumphs
I make a good cheescake, and empanadas, an Argentine traditional meal, I also have finally learned to make a decent paella and Spanish slow cooking stews.
My cooking tragedies
I can not make a decent rice!!!! no matter how may many times I try it is either too soggy or burnt dry! Very hit and miss with cakes.

Home Made Mayonnaise
This recipe was awsome, I totally messed up the part where you add the oil slowly, as I had heated it beforhand, this prevents the eggs from separating. well the mayo still came out perfectly! I also added chopped parsley to the mix to give it extra flavor. Thank you for a great recipe.
