About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love trying something new. I love to make cookies. Anything I can experiment with, such as meatloaf, spaghetti sauce, pot roast, and boston butts are also among my favorites.
My cooking triumphs
Everyone loves my chocolate & peanut butter chip cookies.

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes
These were simple to make and so delicious. My two and five year olds kept begging for more. I added the TBSP of sugar, but they would have been great without it. They were yummy when topped with blackberry jelly.

Unbelievable Spinach Calzones
My entire family, aged 18 months to 29+ loved this recipe. I used canned pizza dough and fresh spinach instead of frozen. This was easy and delicious. An earlier reviewer suggested brushing egg whites on top, and it did add a nice shiny glaze to the calzone. This one is a great master recipe for a calzone. I can't wait to make it again.

Potato Chips
I've tried to make potato chips before with no success, but this recipe did the trick. As other reviewers have noted, each microwave is different. It took mine about 5 minutes, and I couldn't make them fast enough for my 4 year old. Instead of coating them in oil, I used cooking spray as was suggested by another, so even my heart healthy husband ate them and loved them. A keeper. (the chips and the husband)
