I didn't change a thing on this recipe and it was absolutely delicious. The nuts didn't really need toasting in advance as they seemed to toast quite well in the oven as the cake cooked.

My husband loves a lot of pastry crust on his cobblers so instead of putting lattice strips on the top, I put another whole crust on the top and just score it with a knife in a few places to let the juices bubble through. He says the crust is always the best part of any cobbler. :-) Thanks for the great recipe. This is definitely a keeper.
