About this Cook
I am a cook of a cook...lol! Growing up my mother always made gourmet meals as an everyday thing. I have now taken over and become the cook of the family. I married the love of my life Sept. 2, 2006 and recently had our first child on June 21,2007!
My favorite things to cook
Anything new an challenging! I love to make BIG dinners. My husband is obsessed with my beef stroganoff and my homemade chicken noodle soup.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Goulash, Beef Stroganoff, Stuffed Peppers, and my mothers potato soup.
My cooking triumphs
I made home made mac-n-cheese and a few desserts for my boyfriends (now my husband) family Christmas dinner. They loved everything and it made a great first impression.
My cooking tragedies
One evening my husband and I had the idea to make omelets. We were looking in the fridge to see what we wanted to put in them, when I saw a cucumber! BAD IDEA! We put it in and it immediately became a pickle...hehe! We ended up scrapping the whole cooking idea and ordering a pizza!

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies by EAGLE BRAND(R)
AMAZING cookies! This recipe has been in our family for years. It is always a crowd pleaser. My in-laws asked me to make them another batch tonight. I wouldn't believe the review that says that these are bad cookies and there is no taste of sweetener. Obviously there is. The recipe calls for Eagle Brand milk (VERY sweet) and also sugar, can't get any sweeter than that! I found the cook time to be pretty much right on, I made mine a bit bigger so they stayed in a little longer. An easy way to tell they are done when making them bigger is that they begin to crack. Let them crack a good bit, but keep an eye on them, they are easy to burn (I speak from experience)lol These guys are GREAT and a Hershey kiss is the perfect topper! Happy Holidays!!

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II
I did everything as directed, but I ADDED a small jar of pimentos. They were a wonderful addition!

Slow Cooker Stuffing
VERY yummy! I was in a hurry so I omitted the 1st step and part of the second. I just added EVERYTHING to the crock pot and stirred it all together. I then cooked it on HIGH for 4 hrs then on LOW for about 45 mins, and it was PERFECT! As far as the chicken broth, I found that about 2 1/4 cups was adequate.
