I followed the recipe exactly, except I used Sara Lee cinnamon raisin bread and cubed them and tossed them in the egg mixture instead of pouring it on top. I think the flavor was good, I'm not sure if I didn't cook it long enough but the bread was kinda soggy and there was alot of liquid still in the bottom with the apples. If I tried this again I would probably not pour the excess liquid in the casserole after tossing the bread in the egg mixture. It cam out too wet. But over all I love the idea and the flavor.

I don't know if I did something wrong but they came out very dry and hard. When mixing the batter it was very dry... I don't see how you could drop a spoonful into the oil. I had to form them by rolling them up.

This batter came out great.... I added 1/2 cup extra flour because I was frying a lot of fish... and it was too thick with only 1 bottle of beer... so I actually added almost a whole other bottle. People who said the batter was too runny... I think it is supposed to be runny... I fried some fish at different consistencies as I added more beer and thinned it... the fish fried with the thinner batter came out better. Also I did not think the spice was too much at all... I added extra flour so I also added extra spice so it would be proportional to the original recipe. The only thing I did change was the amount of salt because I would have hated for this to come out too salty, based on other reviews. Other than the salt... I think this is exactly what I was looking for and will definitely use again.

This was alright, not as flavorful as I would have liked. I did everything the recipe called for but I added lemon juice prior to cooking and put the orange sliced on about 5 minutes prior to the fish being done. I thought the fish was bland... it would be better if some how I could infuse the orange flavor through out the meat instead of just on top.

Very good. I made as is for thanksgiving but cut down on the ginger to everyone's advise. I guess everyone else thought they were good because they were gone. A great way to make low fat sweet potatos.

This was very good. I had an 8 pound piece of meat so of course I doubled everything. I thought the amount of barbeque sauce was too much so I added a total of 36 ounces instead of the 48 ounces that would be required if the recipe was doubled. The meat was very tender and I am glad I did not add the full amount of barbeque sauce it would have masked the chipotle flavor and mangos. I have never been able to find chipotle chili powder so I pureed about half a can of chipotles in adobo with the mangos. If I made it again I would probably add more mangos and chipotle chilis and less barbeque sauce!

It was really good. I made it exactly as the recipe says. I think it was alittle bland.... could use salt pepper maybe some bratwurst mustard... but other than that very good.

I made this recipe with the exact ingredients and amounts.... the biscuits were really moist and fluffy, but they were alittle bland. I served them with sausage gravy, they were fine for that, but I would have to put something in them if I was going to eat them plain. I made biscuits the other day off the back of the bisquik box and they were hard and not so good... theese were much better!

I thought this was pretty good... It is really hard to bake catfish and make it as good as fried fish. Anyway I just wish it was crispier, but good for a non fried fish, i think it could have used something else on it too... maybe something to spice it up like cayenne. But over all it is good written as is.

This is very good. The limes I found were very hard to squeeze so I ended up using lime juice from the fridge. Which might have taken some flavor away. You can also add tequila and forgo the water and make strawberry margaritas.

The chowder was good but not as flavorful as I would like. I had a bit of a problem with the whole microwave thing.... My bacon melted my bowl. So I ended up making the recipe on the stove and only using the microwave for the potatos. It still was very quick.

I was looking for a pizza dough to make with children and was getting discouraged when many had to rise for an hour and a half... This one is quick easy and healthy and it was very good. The dough while sitting did not rise like I thought it would but it still turned out great. I think I am going to make this again tonight or tomorrow!

This was pretty good. I picked the recipes because it was low in calories and low in fat. I Pretty much followed it to a tee execpt i didnt have noodles or lentils so i just added extra rice. There was so much spaghetti squash in it! But good for a heart low fat soup!

This recipe was missing something, not as good as other coconut curries i have made, but it was not horrible just a little blander than i am used to.

It wasn't bad, but not what I was expecting. I have made jerky chicken before and either the other recipe is not authentic or this one is just different. The recipe is fine, it is just not what I was hoping for.

I made this and followed some others suggestions by adding cumin, using chicken broth, garlic and extra chili powder... i think without some of these ingredients it might have been dull... but its one of the best spanish rices i have ever made.

I dont know what happened but when i mixed all the stuff up the batter was not batter it was actually like a dough, even after i added more water, vegetable oil and anohter egg.... and i could not spread it in a big cake pan so i put in a 9x9. I had to cook it so much longer because it kept coming out doughy. I cooked it probably a total of 1 hour and 30 mins. It smelled great and it tasted okay but it was very dense like a sourdough bread would be. I will try it again because it looks good and seems so easy..... maybe i messed it up?

Not the best coconut curry that I have every had but it was really good and easy to make. One reason I chose the recipe is because there were not any ingredients that would be hard to find. Alot of time I steer away from recipes that have alot of specialty items because then you will end up spending alot of money on an item you will only use a few times... but very good for a simple recipe!

I made this as a starter so i did not add chicken as the main dish was chicken and it was great. I think it would have been even better with the chicken but it was still good. The apple and carrot pieces were kinda big i think i would have liked them smaller but still very good and easy ingredients to find.

I thought the idea of the cake was really good and it was okay but for some reason it tasted kinda floury.... i did half the recipe because there are only two of us so maybe i didnt half it exactly right.... i will make it again and try to figure out why it tasted floury!
