Excellent flavor combo and sauce consistency. I served this with coconut rice and my (meat loving) family asked if I would make this once a week!

This is very possibly the best cake I have ever had---period. Thanks to both Nan for submitting the recipe, and to CRYSTALLAUREY who made it so easy to use all of the best suggestions from reviews by putting them in one single review. This cake can not fail if you follow the recipe with the modifications. I had no problem whatsoever with sogginess and the consistency was just perfect! Thanks so much!

I have to give this only one star based on the directions. This dough absolutely needs time to rise. Crust came out very thin and crunchy, which is fine if that is what you are after, but the title or recipe should indicate that.
