I'm just a southern girl that loves to cook. I enjoy fixing a big meal and watching everyone dig in! I love to cook chicken and bake cakes and cookies. My favorite family cooking traditions would have to include cooking Sunday dinner for everyone after church services, Easter dinner, Thanksgiving, and of course Christmas dinner. Salsa cake! It is to die for! Too many to list here, however I would have to say my first attempt at pound cake and using self-rising flour by mistake...I think that cake batter is still oozing out of that oven!
