i got lots of compliments and found this to be the easiest cookie ever.

we were jokingly calling this "mock head" at my party. i think some people were afraid to eat based on appearance (we used a beautiful mold though). however, it tasted very good. decent recipe for not using a head. there was very little jello in this recipe based on amount of meat. one person said that maybe more jello would have made it more authentic. however, i thought it was fine

we tripled the chocolate as suggested by other reviewers and it was great. we used a chocolate icing recipe from this site. only suggestion would be to use a loose icing or glaze, as the cake was crumbling during application of icing. we ended up freezing the cake to ice and all was well. thanks

very good icing. very stiff when cools if put in a lot of conf. sugar. i would suggest using unsweetened bakers chocolate rather than using chips. i like things very chocolaty and that would have made it more so.

It tasted fine but definitely not tiramisu. i followed the recipe. try the classic tiramisu on here. it is much more complicated but much, much better

no one really touched this at the party. my in-laws and neighbors said that they really liked it. i, however, was not very excited about it. they really tasted like sweet pickles. i like my pickles to taste like pickles and my cukes to taste like cukes. overall, not bad

it was good and soooo easy. i make fruit juice ice rings. and used whitecrangrape bc that is all they had. i did not add the extra sugar. it was all gone in a flash and there were plenty of other drinks. i made mine green bc it was a garden party and i think that was not good. i got a few negative comments about the color, eg. green slime, snot, etc. anyway, maybe for a little boys party but not green for grown ups.

very crunchy, not to wet, lots of compliments

I have re-read this recipe twice to make sure I did everything as directed and I did. I did not care for it. I went to a party of about 15 women and only one person liked it. I had left some for my hubby and he didn't even eat it and he eats everything. Not only was the taste of alcohol too much but it was lacking spice. I am giving this recipe two stars rather than one bc I did double the recipe and maybe that could have effected it. I spent a long time (30 minutes) stirring and flaming to get all the alcohol out. The first few times I tasted it, it was way way too strong. This dish was a waste and an embarrassment. I have only found one other recipe with 4+ stars that wasn't a hit in the past few years i have been using this website.

It was very good. I chilled the battered chicken for thirty minutes as advised by another review. The batter stuck very well. I also added a jar of roasted red peppers as advised by another. It was so easy too. I hold out my five stars for the most special, but this was yummy.

It is ok. I will keep the recipe but just to save for emergencies. For example, expecting guest and my other dough doesn't rise as expected. A great dough is recipezaar #1005. I used that one for a party and then had two batches not rise so I used this recipe to replace those batches. I got a lot of request for the other recipe, not this one.
