Strawberry Pie II
I made this pie last night and it was perfect. I took the suggestion of other reviewers and used 3/4 c sugar and 1/2 c water which made the pie not too sweet. This will be my summer dessert for picnics! Thank you for sharing!

Shrimp and Quinoa
I made this last night and my husband and I loved it. I did want to make a healthier version so I used 1 teaspoon olive oil to saute the vegetables and shrimp in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and did not add the additional 2 tablespoons of oil at the end. This shaved off about 100 calories and 10 grams of fat per serving! I will definitely make this again.

Chicken Pot Pie IX
This is a great recipe for using up all of the leftover turkey from Thanksgiving! I made slight variations since my turkey was already cooked I did not add it to the pea, celery, and carrot mixture while it was on the stove top boiling. I added it to the pie shell when everything was ready for assembly. Also, I reduced the amount of butter to 2 Tablespoons and had great results. The other reviewers were right about the additional herbs, I added sage, parsley, thyme, basil, rosemary, and onion powder to the sauce to give it a more complex taste. My husband and I were so happy to have another way to use up our turkey! Thank you for submitting this one!
