Chicken Pot Pie IX
This is a great recipe for using up all of the leftover turkey from Thanksgiving! I made slight variations since my turkey was already cooked I did not add it to the pea, celery, and carrot mixture while it was on the stove top boiling. I added it to the pie shell when everything was ready for assembly. Also, I reduced the amount of butter to 2 Tablespoons and had great results. The other reviewers were right about the additional herbs, I added sage, parsley, thyme, basil, rosemary, and onion powder to the sauce to give it a more complex taste. My husband and I were so happy to have another way to use up our turkey! Thank you for submitting this one!
