4 stars simply because the taste was outstanding. I am sure the reason they didn't come out right has to do with children who take off with my measuring cups. I think I used too much shortening. The frosting also did not set up right...not even a good consistency for a glaze. Anyway, I will try again, with the proper measuring tools, and see if I can get it right!

Simple White Cake

This turned out good. I was in a hurry though, so next time I try it I will slow down ALOT. The cupcakes were a hit though...no one had any complaints! It had a good vanilla flavor which I liked alot.

Strawberry Cake from Scratch

Unfortunatly, this did not work out for me. I don't think I will try it again. The cake fell in the oven, and fell apart when I took it out of the pan. I had made it for my daughter's 1st birthday and now I don't know what I am going to do...yikes.

Spaghetti Pizza II

This was good. I doubled it to fit in a 13x9 pan. I used provalone instead of American cheese bc that is what I had on hand. I will make this again.

BLT Pasta Salad

This was very good. I made it for company. I did a few things differently than the recipe states. I added a handful of sharp cheddar, I used Kraft ranch with bacon dressing, and I used minced onion. Next time, I will use a real onion, I think this salad needed that.

KELLOGG'S* RICE KRISPIES* Squares with Chocolate Chips

These cannot be beat! I took the advice of another reviewer and added the chocolate chips on top so they would not melt as much. YUM!

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Awesome cookies! I was so shocked, but with so few ingredients these were too easy to pass up. Next time, I think I will cook a tad longer and maybe add a splash of vanilla.

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

I cannot say enough good things about this recipe. Tender meat, with good flavor. I will use this marinade for many different things, but I won't make pork chops on the grill any other way again!!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was good the night we served it, but by the next day it was kind of like mush. I did enjoy it though, so next time I will make sure there is more liquid to the mass amount of dumplings that this makes.

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

This was so moist and delicious. I had forgotten the recipe at work, and guessed the sauce ingredients. I did guess a little on the shy side, so next time I will kick it up a bit. This was wonderful with noodles, and as a sandwich the next day. My three year old had seconds. That never happens!

Cube Steak Parmesan

I rated this simply because my husband loved it. I used jarred sauce as well. I do not really care for cube steak, but this was MUCH more tender than any other way I have prepared it. Overall, I will keep this one around!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

This was excellent! I made it for a bridal shower. I doubled the fruit, but not the sugar, and it was still sweet and delicious. I also chopped up some frozen peaches in place of the raspeberries, and I used raspberry preserves. The chips were a bit time consuming and messy, but good nonetheless. Next time I will try and buy them. I will make this again next month for another bridal shower at my office!
