My interest in cooking was sparked when I moved in with my then fiance, who could (and would) eat spaghetti every day. (Or frozen dinners.) I knew I could do better for him, I just had to figure out how! Mexican food for sure. I also like to bake. Of course, memories of making cookies with my mom. I can't wait until my kids can help me! Chicken and dumplings! That was a huge challenge. My husband is from the south and likes his with a thick gravy...I am from the north and had them as a soup with meat. Roast, potatoes and carrots in the crock pot. I dont know what I do differently than my mother in law, but we leave it up to her!
