Cheesecake Topped Brownies

This was a really good recipe. It is very rich and creamy. The recipe does create a lot of cheesecake topping. It taste the best when it is still warm.

Did everything according to recipe except for the Kalonji. I substituted 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder for it. These are delicious.

Lentils and Rice with Fried Onions (Mujadarrah)

This was a good starting point to grow from. I used other reviewers suggestions and increased the spices. I also used more onions. I oooked my lentils seperate. All in all a good idea for a comfort food for me.

Sweet Potato Bread I

Absolutley loved this bread. Made it as is for the first few times. Then, i tried adding some different dried fruits one at a time. Fantastic. Also,this bread freezes well.

Italian Bread Bowls

Loved everything about this recipe. It was easy and delicious. My family loved them. I added garlic and parsley to the dough. I scooped out center and filled each bowl with black beans with a sprinkle of cheese on top. DELICIOUS!!!

Chicken with Lemon-Caper Sauce

This recipe is not only easy but versatile. I used it on top of different types of fish. It was delicious too. I tried it on Tilapia, Salmon and Haddock. I prefer it over the Tilapia since that fish has a milder flavor.

Hamburger Rice Soup

I took another readers advice and added some beef bouillion cubes. I also added 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and increased the rice to 1 full cup. After these modifications the recipe is a definite keeper.

Grandma's Pear Preserves

I thought the spices overpowered the taste of the pears. I think I will leae out the spices next time and maybe decrease the water content like another person had suggested.
