Very creamy. Made exactly according to directions. Wonderfully easy and silky smooth. Garnished with the extra cream and some fresh strawberries. Yummy!!!!

Mediterranean Chicken with Eggplant

This was a wonderful dish. The flavors and texture are absolutely delicious. Hubby loved it. The only thing I did differently was add Parmesan cheese on the top the last 5 minutes of baking time.

Onion Chicken in Balsamic Sauce

Excellent taste. Coats the chicken really well. I thought the finished gravy was a little thin. That would be the only complaint I have for this entire recipe. Otherwise excellent all the way around.

Sour Cream Pound Cake

This has an excellent taste to it. It is a good jumping off place to play around with the taste of this cake. I'm going to try changing the taste by trying different extracts in it. I'm plannning on trying it also with the juice of 1/2 a lemon and some of the rind grated into the batter. This is not only a delicious cake but an easy recipe to prepare. One usually has all ingredients on hand. A wonderful dessert to serve to guest. This cake can be dressed up really fancy or served just plain with a nice cup of Earl Grey.

Slow-Cooked Oriental Chicken

Excellent prepared as stated in recipe. The only thing I did was change the garlic cloves to powder (all I had on hand). I cooked it on the stove as well. It was delicious. The sauce was doubled. It coated the chicken nicely.

Turkey Goulash

Pretty decent flavor. A little more is needed. I used onion powder and tomato paste in place of the sauce. I prefer my sauce a little richer. Overall a good recipe.

Chocolate Ganache

The taste of this ganache is heavenly. Be a chocolate snob when it comes to what type/brand of chocolate you use for this recipe. The better tasting chocolate is well worth the upcharge!!

Pecan Pie Muffins

This was a totally awesome tasting recipe. The presentation is awful. I heavily greased and floured my miniature muffin pans and I still could not get them to come out as one piece. I will make this again but not sure what pan I will use. Maybe if the dough doesn't 'travel' too much I will spoon it out onto a cookie sheet.

Chocolate Buttermilk Cake

Very good chocolate cake. Very moist. The only problem I had with it was not greasing and flouring my pans enough. The cake stuck a little. Purely my fault though. Delicious!!!

Kona Chicken

This dish was not only extremely easy but very tasty. I used a red wine instead of white...which I had on hand, and it did not seem to make that much of a difference. Family enjoyed it very well too.

Honey Glazed Carrots

This had a good flavor. However, I did not follow previous reviewers advice and precook the carrots. Big mistake. My carrots came out rather hard even after extending the cooking time. I will make this again however, I will precook the carrots before adding the onions and spices and slipping them in the oven.

Hearty Chicken Strata

Didn't care for this too much. It was bland to me and my family. Will not use this recipe again. I prepared the recipe as the directions stated. It was not dry but not enough flavor for us...even with the gravy.

Turkey and Hash Brown Casserole

This was a fabulous recipe. I loved all the different textures going on in one biteful. I doubled the hashbrowns and the ground turkey. I used fresh broccoli that was steamed in place of frozen. It was delicious. Everyone loved it from a 2 year old grandbaby to a lovable husband!!! Will cook again definately.

Excellent recipe. Easy and good. You can also try varying the spices for different tastes...such as a curry mix, or even sugar and brown sugar for a sweeter flavor...combinations are endless.
