Baked Aloha Chicken

This was an okay recipe. It is bland. I made it according to the recipe and it is lacking. Next time I will add some garlic and onion powder and maybe some cut up ones as well. It makes a lovely gravy but still....no taste. I will make this again but I will tweek it some.

This is a good recipe. However, I prefer to let mine cure on a shelf in my kitchen and not the refrigerator. Mine comes out thicker than this.

Carrots Au Gratin

This was a good recipe. It is imperative that you cook the carrots well before adding them to the casserole or you will be eating hard carrots. The taste was a little bland for me. I probably will make this again but with a little tweaking to it.

Home Made Farmer's Cheese

I made this using the vinegar instead of the lemon juice. It was fantastic. After it drained for a day or so I added some garlic and onion powder and a tad bit of parsley to it, oh and a little bit of salt. It is delicious on crusty french bread. I tried some yesterday with a couple of mandarin oranges cut into it. The difference in the two textures was wonderful. I think I will try this again and add different spices this time. The variety of tastes you can give this cheese is endless.

Colleen's Potato Crescent Rolls

This recipe creates a sweet, very lush bread. I made it exactly as directed the first time. The second time I quartered the dough and rolled each quarter out very thin. It made an even better crescent. In addition to it being thinner I wound up with more crescents...which is a very good thing. This is definately a keeper recipe. I will probably keep this dough made and in my fridge on a regular basis.

Microwave Lemon Curd

This was by far the easiest lemon curd I have ever made. This recipe has changed my approach to lemon curd forever. It is a very tart curd but oh so delicious!!!

Busy Day Chicken

I rubbed the chicken down with a mixture of garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper, and rosemary. Then proceeded with recipe. Fair to midland results. It was as easy as it gets to cook though. Dump everything in the pot and fagetaboutit!!!

Indian-Style Butter Chicken (Murgh Makhani)

This was an excellent recipe. Easy to prepare and very tasty. The only substitution I made was using cayenne pepper for the crushed red pepper. I can't imagine it tasting all that different with the crushed red peppers versus the cayenne pepper. This is a definate keeper. My hubby loved it as well as children. Not too bad if I don't say so myself.
