About this Cook
I started cooking when I was about 4-5 yrs old. I was the youngest child, and not in school yet so Mom would let me help her in the kitchen. I had my own little cooking set and Mom would put a small portion of what we cooked in the pots so I could pretend to feed my dolls.
My favorite things to cook
Soups. I don't know how I do it, I just take anything that is available, throw it in a pot ans VOILA, it's soup. My boyfriend says they are so good I should open an Soup and Salad resturaunt.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Preparing Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. All the trimmings and desserts.
My cooking triumphs
Being able to master cooking without a recipe...most of the time.
My cooking tragedies
There have been too many to try to remember. Breads that don't rise. Cookies that are too hard to bite into. Oversalted stuff. You know... the usual disasters.

Chocolate Chip Cheese Ball
Great change from traditional cheeseball. I used the chocolate graham cracker as some had recommended and it worked out great!

Pretzel Turtles
SO EASY! SO GOOD! I made these for an Office Snack Party and they were so simple to make and taste great too. I used Rollos and Waffle style pretzels.
