I'm 63-years-old and have been married 34 years. I have one son (married) who lives in Illinois. My husband and I moved to Colorado 14 years ago, something he's always wanted to do. I was raised on a dairy farm in Wisconsin and, probably as a result, love animals, especially dogs and cats. We have 2 dogs who are spoiled rotten. My husband is retired and I retired as of 12-01-07. I love to try new recipes. I participate in a potluck every Sunday at our local VFW. The money donated is used for the auxiliary scholarship fund or for any needy persons/charities. It's very satisfying to do this, and I use All Recipes a LOT to find new recipes that are inexpensive to make, but rated as delicious. Casseroles, especially hamburger dishes. Appetizers, if they aren't too difficult. Cookies/bars, DH's favorites. Making lots of cookies and candy for the Christmas season. I always make too much and end up giving it away, but nobody complains!
