Split Pea Soup
My hubby wiggled his brows with the first spoonful.....a surefire sign of a winner! I took a few liberties with this recipe, just because that's what I do. I doubled the recipe so I'd have plenty to freeze, added some chicken bouillion, garlic, thyme, a splash (or two) of cooking wine, served with corn bread and voil`a....a wonderful, filling soup. Can't wait to have it tomorrow when I know it's going to be even better! Thanks for the recipe, Sandra!
