Ham with Honey and Brown Sugar Glaze

I didn't use any cloves, but used clove honey instead. Used 1/4 cup of OJ instead as well and then kept everything else the same. My glaze never thickened though and I had it on the stove for quite sometime. I ended up just pouring a very runny sauce on my ham and glazing every few mins. Baked for an hour and came out good. My picky bf loved it. He is usually doesnt eat the fat on any meat, but he said this was so good, he even started eating the fat on the ham. Simple ingredients, easy to make.

Twelve Minute Pasta Toss

This was more like a pasta salad side dish than an entree. It was good but I wouldn't rave about it. I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't use oregano because I didn't have any. I also sauteed more olive oil from my sun dried tomatoes jar hoping to give the dish a little more sauce but it was still a bit dry. I also squeezed a little lemon juice on top when serving because it still tasted bland to me. I would probably still make it again but not as a main course.

I live with an apple crisp fanatic. I made this for him and he was very impressed and it got rave reviews. I followed the recipe exactly but left out the baking soda because I didn't have any. Perfect easy recipe just the way it was written!

Spicy Sausage Soup with Cilantro

I had to alter the recipe based on what I had on hand. Left out the beans, used one can of beef broth and one can of chicken broth, added chopped green pepers, no cilantro. Still came out good. We used extra hot sausauges and I think that added to the flavor of the soup as well. Overall came out very tasty!! Easy to modify based on what you have.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Calling it the "best steak marinade in existence" is a little far fetched...it was good but not great. I ended up eating the steak with A1 sauce and that made it better. I followed the recipe exactly minus the optional ingredients and I marinated for about 24 hours.

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

I cut the ketchup in half and added siracha sauce and cayenne pepper for a kick. Came out good and everyone ate them up. I will make it again with extra siracha sauce next time. I think that I had actually used a cup of ketchup, it wouldn't have came out very tasty, hence the 4 stars.

Savory Garlic Marinated Steaks

I left out the liquid smoke and used less balsamic because I am not a big fan of it. I marinated over night and the steaks came out very tender and juicy but the soy sauce flavor was overwhelming. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't use enough balsamic but it was too salty. Other than that it was good. I would make again but with less soy sauce.

easy and good...next time i will try with ground beef to make pad ga pow. i didn't have spicy oil so i used olive oil with some red pepper flakes instead. i also added onions and red peppers instead of mushrooms.

I made a few adjustments because I think if I made it the way the recipe called, it might be a bit bland. I followed the recipe exactly but I also added some garlic powder, cumin and fajita seasoning mix. It came out very tasty!!!!

I made this exactly as is but I didn't use any parsley. The dish is great but is a bit bland. I think it's a great base, and I will make it again with a few changes next time to add more flavor.
