Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker

I followed the directions given, although I did use a 10oz. brownie mix and baked the brownie crust for only half the time, as suggested by other reviewers. I am sorry to say that the cake was a disaster... the caramel bubbled up around the cheesecake mixture and burned, and the brownie part was hard as rock. An unfortunate disappointment, but the cheesecake part did taste good.

Cranberry Relish II

This is just like the recipe my aunt used to make. Thank you for posting. Although it freezes well, this makes a lot of relish. I made half a recipe, which was enough for a large Thanksgiving dinner and (kept in the freezer) a small Christmas meal. I also used only half of the recommended sugar. I prefer relish on the tart side rather than sweet.

Ladyfinger Trifle

The taste was good (I used blueberry pie filling) but the cream cheese filling was so thin that once you took the first scoop, it turned into a soupy mess. I might try this again using individual dishes rather than one big bowl.

Apple Pecan Cornbread Dressing

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit. We also served a sage and sausage stuffing so this was a nice sweet accompaniment/alternative. I used Granny Smith apples by mistake. Although other people liked it with the Granny Smiths, I would use a different type of apple next time. I felt that it took a bit too long for the apples to soften.

Three-Cheese Macaroni

My husband enjoyed this very much. I thought it was good. Although I prefer "traditional" baked macaroni and cheese, this was extremely easy to make. (I even snuck in 1/2 cup of pureed cauliflower to the cheese mix and no one knew!)

Slow Cooker Lentils and Sausage

We enjoyed this very much! I used French green lentils, only 1 lb. of (turkey) kielbasa and reduced the water by 1c. The results were delicious. We will definitely make this again!

Sausage Stuffing

Very simple to prepare and very tasty. In my family, this is considered "traditional" stuffing. Thanks for sharing. If you are worried about the lack of cooking instructions, remember, stuffing does not have any "raw" ingredients - everything is precooked. You are really just warming and browning it. Some people like their stuffing crispy and some like it soft and moist - either way, just keep an eye on it and take it out when it is right for you. (The nice thing is that you can usually pop it in the oven in between other dishes.)

Green Bean Casserole II

A CLASSIC - it is always requested for holiday dinners. I like this dish because it is easy to prepare ahead of time. I will often mix it up the day before a big dinner and I guess that the frozen beans thaw a bit in the refrigerator that way. Even if I bake it right away, I have never had a problem using frozen beans.

Sweet and Nutty Moroccan Couscous

My husband and I enjoyed this very much. For quick vegetable broth, try Knorrs vegetable cubes - I use them in place of any broth (chicken, beef or vegetable).
