About this Cook
"Your plate is my canvas!" Love feeding my family and friends...and they love it when I do! I've been creating in the kitchen for over 18 years...cooking is my passion!
My favorite things to cook
everything and anything that makes my company and loved ones happy :)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every holiday my family comes together and we cook different dishes that we each enjoy cooking...love getting the kids involved too.
My cooking triumphs
I created my own Curry Chicken dish from scratch with a curry paste that is my very own...and is my secret paste forever!! It's always a hit with my curry loving friends! They crave it and ask me to make it when it's been awhile...
My cooking tragedies
Trying to impress my hubby some 18 years ago...I made a tuna casserole one evening when we were still just dating...he turned his nose up at it and I was soooo embarrased...haha...I think I might make one for our 20th anniversary...just for a laugh! lol ;)

Perfect Turkey
Wonderful!...I made just a few slight changes...I had to fry/steam my veggies a bit in the end, as the carrots didn't cook all the way through in the turkey...I will par boil the carrots next time. I also added a little more of all the veggies and put everything inside the turkey (instead of some inside ands some outside)...didn't want the veggies to be to salty...also I suggest adding water and extra thyme to the wine in the pan...makes for an amazing gravy...excellant recipe... a definate keeper!

Nova Scotia Blueberry Cream Cake
this was very good...I stuck to the directions except I also folded the blueberries into the sour cream mixture as others suggested...family loved it with light whipping cream on top!

Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin
This was amazing! I only marinated for 3 hours and it was so moist and flavorful...wouldn't change a thing otherwise! Served with steamed veggies and rice.
