I'm married, no kids and "retired" a couple of years ago at 39. Had worked for 23 years, right out of high school, for one company. Someone came in out bought the company and a bunch of us got the boot. Best thing that happened to me in a while (just in case the husband happens to read this)! I just like cooking everything, from appetizers to baking to making soups. But soups are probably my favorite to make, appetizers are my favorite meal. Everybody at my house for Christmas and trying new recipes. I try to make a fudge or something for everyone to take home with them. Just trying new recipes and on friends to get their opinions! I'm too much of a critic and wouldn't make 1/2 the stuff I make again if it wasn't for the opinions of my friends...brave ones to be my taste testers. None really that I can think of. I think if you plan well enough and keep enough time slotted to do what you need to do, everything will turn out fine.
