At just over 6', I am at home in the kitchen or at the power on the helm.
I started "cooking" when my Gran asked me to make her something from my "Little Peoples Cook Book" and from then on I was hooked on cooking. I'm sure it tasted awful, but my Gran would never say.
My favorite things to cook
Anything Pasta, Roast Prime Ribs and Sirloins both Pork and other. Of course, I prefer chicken and turkey, but thats only because they are naturally lower in fat.
My favorite family cooking traditions
American Thanksgiving finds me at the prep table as early as 03:00 for the deserts and snack tables, and then the trully difficult work begins: Getting well meaning friends and family members the heck out of my kitchen! The Holiday feast begins at 16:00 sharp! Its a trully royal bill of fare and one I know NO ONE leaves hungry or empty handed from.
My cooking triumphs
What can I say. I somehow, still to this day unbeknownst to me, pulled off a Cheese Soufle' that didn't fall. Talk about a confidence booster!
My cooking tragedies
Well, lets see. There have been so many ::laughs lightly:: There was the time I added too much wine to a sauce and it went sour. Or how about the time I arranged for 12 people to sup with us and then TOTALLY FORGOT about it!? If thats not tragedy, I don't know what is!!
