Made exactly as recipe states. I thought it was way too sweet and a very strange texture, for cornbread. I'm a big fan of Jiffy's Corn Muffin Mix in the blue box and think it has the perfect amount of sweetness and is sooo simple to make. My family said the like it, but not very convincingly...

Wow!!!!! I have never received so many raves and requests for the recipe in my life. I took this to our Thanksgiving family meal and have already received requests for me to bring to Christmas. The only changes I made are: 1 vanilla pudding and 1 banana cream mix, used Pepperidge Farm Mini-Chessmen cookies instead of Nilla Wafers. Also couldn't fit all the bananas in my largest bowl, so probably used 8 or 10. Thank you for an awesome recipe.
