I am retired for 8 years and just love it. It was the best decision that I have ever made for myself. I love to cook, but have to really be in the mood to do it up right. Home made Spaghetti is one of my favorite things to serve at a dinner party served with a Avocado Green Salad with Ranch Dressing, Cheesy Garlic Bread topped off with a Chocolate Cake for desert. Thanksgiving and Christmas is a great time to cook for your family and friends. I don't think anyone can go wrong by using onions, garlic, green pepper on every meat dish that they cook. It seems to be a hit when I use them. To burn something is the biggest tragedy that I can think of when you are having guests over.
