About this Cook
married 16 years with three sons. I've been a stay@home mom for 11 years. I cook dinner at least four out of five weeknights (kitchen is closed on the weekend!). My husband is a baker by trade therefore, I do very little baking at home and not because he bakes but because I can do without him peering over my shoulder.
My favorite things to cook
anything healthy and tasty. enjoy one pot meals like chili and soups.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I have found that my children decide which traditions we keep. They love x-mas cookies so my husband will make 20lbs of sugar cookie dough and that will last us the whole season! He also makes and decorates gingerbread houses. The boys really look forward to that.
My cooking triumphs
I'm of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent so I have alot of ground to cover before i consider myself triumphant. But I do make my own Sofrito and have made my own Menudo!
My cooking tragedies
I don't have many catastrophes just alot of sad efforts.

Fast and Easy French Onion Dip
Of all the ingredients listed,I only had the fat free sour cream. I mixed in 1/2 cup of light mayo and about 1 Tbsn. of McCormick 'California Style' onion powder.Good enough to go with my baked lays on a friday night!
